FamGuru, an app that helps travel advisors plan and organize fam trips, will launch at Virtuoso Travel Week 2023, which begins Aug. 12 in Las Vegas.

FamGuru enables suppliers to share itineraries with advisors via the app. Advisors create a profile, upload any required documents and get notifications about the trip via the app. They can also use it to document their travels with photos, reviews and learnings. Documentation is archived permanently to be shared with clients and other advisors.

The app can also be used for travel advisors' self-directed fams.

FamGuru founder and CEO Carrie Wallace owns Cerulean World Travel in Chicago. Her experiences with fam trips led her to create the app.

"The existing fam trip process is outdated and cumbersome for both suppliers and advisors," Wallace said. "By leveraging technology, we intend to make FamGuru the industry standard for modern fam trips."

FamGuru is free for advisors and available on the App Store and Google Play. Suppliers can sign up for a free three-month trial. After that, FamGuru is $99 per month or $75 per month if suppliers pay annually.
