Only one week remains to enter Travel Weekly's Magellan Awards. Entries will close on Aug. 18.
The annual Magellan Awards honor outstanding creativity, design, marketing and services for travel advisors, travel agencies, public relations and advertising agencies and industry suppliers.
Categories honor marketing and product innovations, as well as industry efforts in areas such as sustainability; diversity, equity and inclusion; travel-with-a-purpose promotions; culinary/cuisine; giving-back initiatives; solo travelers; co-op travel agency campaigns and more.
To date, more than 240 companies have entered their work, with nearly 700 entries in total.
"The level of creativity and the enthusiasm for our industry is incredibly motivating as all these entries come in," said Mary Pat Sullivan, executive vice president of marketing and partnerships for Travel Weekly and the Northstar Travel Group. "Our panel of judges are ready and excited for this year's challenge and opportunity to recognize talent and innovation."
The Magellan Awards are judged by a one-of-a-kind panel of top travel professionals, representing some of the most accomplished leaders in the industry. Entries are not judged against each other but judged on their individual merit; categories might have multiple winners or no winners depending on judges' scores.
