Celebrity Cruises said Sandy Yawn and her sister Michelle Dunham have been selected as co-godmothers of the Celebrity Ascent.
Yawn is best known as a cast member on the Bravo reality TV series "Below Deck." Dunham is co-founder of the Jacksonville School for Autism.
Yawn is a yacht captain on "Below Deck." She survived a life-threatening accident, cancer and struggles with addiction before launching her career in the yacht industry. Celebrity Cruises president Laura Hodges Bethge called her life story "one of resilience, leadership and strength as a pioneer in the maritime industry and as an inspirational role model for young women."
Bethge said Dunham is a "tireless advocate for children with autism and shows us what is possible when you follow your vision for a better world." She co-founded the Jacksonville School for Autism alongside her husband Mark.
During the Ascent's naming ceremony on Dec. 1, the sisters will christen the ship. The Ascent will depart Fort Lauderdale on its maiden voyage on Dec. 3.
